NEBA CONGRESS WINNERS - FRIDAY
Congratulations to NEBA Secretary, Mary Page, and Aileen Cunningham who have won the Congress Ladies Pairs event for the second year running.

PARSONS LEAVE EBU/NEBA
Parsons Bridge Club are very sad to leave EBU/NEBA - They have been members for over 40 years but numbers had fallen to 2 tables a week!!! 

NIMAN ISRAEL
Get your teams sorted out for the first competition of 2016, the Niman Israel Cup. It is a uniquely challenging competition where you play with each member of your team of four, at least one of whom is a different gender to yourself.
Get your entry in, to Anne Bell for the Saturday competition at Stannington on January 9th. Good fun and an afternoon tea will be provided!

CUMBRIA CONGRESS
If you would like to play bridge against some 'new faces', in beautiful surroundings, the 2016 Cumbria Congress will be held at the Grand Hotel in Grange Over Sands on 18th -20th March.

AILEEN BRYANT
It is with great sadness that we report the sudden and unexpected death of Aileen Bryant. Aileen from the Cramlington Bridge Club was a delightful lady and a successful bridge teacher for many years. The funeral service will be held on Thursday 10th December,12.30pm at West Road Crematorium and afterwards at Morpeth Golf club.

TOLLEMACHE
NEBA just failed to qualify for the 2016 Tollemache final when they came 3rd behind Kent and London in Group A. (21st - 22nd Nov. 2015).

EBU PAIRS PRIZE DRAW WINNERS
The winners of the Simultaneous Pairs prizes for 2015 were drawn during the EBU's Annual General Meeting which took place in London on 25th November.

The pair which achieved the best score within their club in any of the EBU organised Simultaneous Pairs events were entered in to the draw.

The pair which won the £1000 first prize were Susan Dodds & Hetty Jackson of Castle Morpeth Bridge Club.

EBU CLUB PRIZE DRAW WINNERS
Every club which entered a heat of any EBU organised event – i.e. the EBED Spring & Autumn Simultaneous Pairs, the British Simultaneous Pairs Events, the Bridge England Simultaneous Pairs, and the Club Stratified Simultaneous Pairs - were included in the draw. One ‘entry’ in the draw is awarded for every ten tables (or part thereof) which take part in any single heat.
