The Chief Tournament
Secretary had received an objection from
Whitley Bay Bridge Club concerning the
waiving of rules 12 and 16 for the Division
B match between Hartlepool Bridge Club and
Wearside Bridge Club.
Resolved
Although the decision
to allow the disputed match to be played on
another date was taken with the best of
intentions it was not equitable to other
clubs to have done so. The disputed match
should therefore be scored as 14-0 to
Wearside (Rule 16)

Conduct Committee

Noted
That correspondence had
been received by a member of the Conduct
Committee regarding her playing Bridge at
the club involved in the investigation.
Resolved
The Executive Committee
agreed that this social visit did not
impinge on the committee member’s role in
the investigation and she should remain on
the Conduct Committee
