Could you help with a Research Study?

We are looking for male volunteers (age 50-65 years, no family history of diabetes, relatively sedentary lifestyle) to help with a study on diabetes.

Using non-invasive scans, this study aims to compare the energy production in muscles of people with diabetes and people without diabetes. The study consists of 2 separate visits (6-7 hours each) to the Newcastle Magnetic Resonance Centre (on Newcastle General Hospital site) to measure your energy metabolism.

Any travel and parking costs will be reimbursed and in addition, a one-off payment of £50 will be paid on completion of the study.
