In addition to the many one day
competitions held throughout the year, the NEBA run a
range of leagues and knockout competitions for teams of 4,
6 or 8 players.
Inter Club
Probably the most popular teams competition in
the calendar, the teams of 8 Inter club league plays
five matches during the season in five divisions.
Affiliated clubs can enter a number of teams for
these friendly Sunday competitions.

North Eastern League.
More experienced players may wish to try playing
against some of the top players in the area by
entering the North Eastern League.
Kempson Cup and Plate.
This is teams of 4 knockout competition that extends
throughout the season. Teams knocked out in the 1st
or 2nd round can elect to compete for the Kempson

This is a single event for teams of 4 where each
team must contain at least one man and one woman.
Further, each of the four rounds must be played with
a different partner. Great fun and lots of
opportunities to get it wrong or blame partner!

A teams of 4 competition played with a qualifying
round in affiliated clubs followed by a final that
is usually played on a Saturday.
Northern League
The NEBA play in an inter area
competition that covers a large area of Northern
England. The Northern League offers competitions for
